Dirty Pool in Darnestown
Ongoing attempted removal of darnestown.net External Link from Wikipedia page for Darnestown, Maryland
“Darnestown Online” first appeared in the External Links section of the 11th overall edit of the Darnestown, Maryland wikipedia page, back on 13 Sep 2005.
Weird, the ongoing attempts to remove the link. Why? Perhaps persons fearing truth, alternate inputs and viewpoints. How weak, desperate, transparent, suspicious, even incredulous given Montgomery County, Maryland’s supposedly ‘highly educated’ population (sources at bottom). You’d think ‘smart people’ would keep open minds, favor variety and data; instead, verifiable shadiness is evidenced over time.
13 June 2022 — darnestown.net External Link re-added to wikipedia page. This link had been removed without explanation at whim of one non-resident, “TwoScars“.
Dec 2021 to Jun 2022 — User page for long-time wikipedia volunteer editor and monetary contributor SpookyMike was removed along with notifications of edits to Darnestown, Maryland wikipedia page. See edits to user SpookyMike talk page dated 2011.
28 Dec 2021 — darnestown.net removed by M.boli for reason “darnestown.net seems to be gone”; meanwhile, darnestown.net has always run reliably. M.boli was renamed to “BrownHairedGirl” with a page showing over 1.6 million wikipedia edits. LOL.
8 May 2020 — User “TwoScars” removed darnestown.net External Link. Whim; no reason given.
Wikipedia, begun by a person involved with online pornography, is notorious for uncontrolled edits by anonymous infobullies.
