What do you think about the new high-rise in Bethesda? Do you see it benefiting the area?
17.5% “Moderately” priced units was the compromise made to get 250 units. That wont help any low wage workers who need housing near transportation hubs like downtown Bethesda. It will finacially benefit the developers and a few real estate pros on the inside track. Much of the living space will be unoccupied because the ultra wealthy buyers who already have 3 or 4 homes only use them as a safe way to park capital.
